Hello Patty,
You will be happy to know that [my child's] school...
was immediately responsive to the testing report you put together! They
were very impressed with your report and wish they could have a report like
that for every kid in school! We met with them today and they are
placing [my child] on an ALP and keeping his IEP, and he will be in the Gifted
program at school. His classroom teacher and special ed teacher are more
than willing to make some accommodations that you recommended to help him.
After spring break, we will be meeting with the District’s Twice Exceptional
Specialist and the Gifted Specialist for next steps and suggestions. I
was not aware there is a district specialist for twice exceptional
students.
Thank you so much for your help in providing some answers and
to get us in a helpful direction for [our child]! Your knowledge and expertise
is amazing! Thank you again!

We decided to seek Patty's help when our daughter's mis-behavior at
school increased in combination with her growing sentiments of, "I hate
school." At home she was also becoming increasingly intense, angry and
at the same time very self-critical. We'd been seeking help from her
teacher and friends, but we knew it was time to get some expert advice.
Because Patty spent the extra time getting to know our daughter while
doing her assessment, our daughter truly enjoyed her time with Miss
Patty. Our daughter is shy with new people, and it was Patty's warmth
and interest that coaxed her out of her shell so Patty could learn more
about her.
Our first visit with Patty was truly a turning point for our
daughter. Although it is hard to believe, I could see it immediately
following our visit. Somehow, Patty ignited a flame of renewed self
confidence in our daughter that continued to grow as we implemented
Patty's ideas through out the following weeks. Months later, I am happy
to say our daughter enjoys school and is one of the best behaved kids

Patty: I
wanted to take a few minutes and express my appreciation for you with this
letter.
Before
I found you and Turning Point Assessment Services, I was a 57 year old man lost
in confusion. I had spent my life
running in all directions. I was
frustrated, and thought I was simply a man who would never “get it
together”. I even believed I was less
intelligent than my peers.
After
a divorce, and working in a business I hated, living in a small apartment, and
feeling like I'd never accomplish anything of worth with my life, I took it
upon myself to find answers.
Late
one night, I got on the internet and looked for a service, a company that would
get to the bottom of things. A company
that would have the expertise and testing, to find the answers. A company that would discover what makes Dale
tick.
I
found Turning Point Assessment Services. I made an appointment with Patty
Martens and the rest is history. The
testing and questions Patty provided did the trick. It's the first time in all my years that I
have a healthy view of myself and my abilities.
All I had to do was take the first step.
