At Turning Point Assessments we believe in helping individuals and families find their true potential. Our experienced staff maintains a wealth of knowledge that works to identify giftedness, twice-exceptionality(2e), learning disabilities, and ADHD with support and understanding. We will work with you to become an advocate for yourself or for your children.

We provide the following services:

  • Gifted and talented identification with the Wechsler Scales including the WPPSI-IV, WISC-V or WAIS-IV depending on the age of the client

  • IQ (cognitive) and achievement (academic) testing for children and adults

  • Learning disability diagnosis in reading, writing, and math; dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia according to the DSM-5 for ages 5 years to adults

  • ADHD diagnosis according to the DSM-5 for ages 4 years to adults

  • Twice-exceptional determination (GT and LD or ADHD)

  • Help getting accommodations on ACT, SAT, L-SAT, and GRE testing

Please note: Our services are specific to gifted child identification and clients struggling with some aspect of preschool, K-12 education, college, or graduate school. We do not do court appointed assessments. We will work with a medical doctor regarding ADHD diagnosis but we do not provide medical advice. We are not a mental health clinic and do not provide counseling or therapy although we can direct you to mental health resources.

Make sure you have the current documentation you need for accommodations at the college level or for test accommodations on the ACT, SAT, GMAT, and GRE’s.
